Built to handle challenging terrain, the Defender is ideally suited to Icelandic conditions. With exceptional four-wheel-drive capability, robust construction, and proven durability, it gives you the confidence to explore everything from country roads to Iceland’s highland tracks.

Our Defenders are equipped with a snorkel and 31-inch tires, providing enhanced off-road capability, improved stability, and a smoother ride. Each vehicle also carries an onboard tool bag with a tow rope, jack, shovel, and tire iron, so you’re better prepared for the journey ahead.

Seating & Luggage

The Defender seats up to 7 people in a 2 + 3 + 2 configuration.

Please note that when all seven seats are in use, luggage space is limited to approximately three small suitcases.

LAND ROVER SUPER DEFENDER

Manual transmission

The Land Rover Super Defender takes legendary Defender capability to another level. Specially modified for Icelandic conditions, this is a serious 4x4 built for demanding terrain and challenging adventures.

Equipped with massive 37-inch tires, an onboard air compressor, auxiliary headlamps, snorkel, and built-in VHF radio, the Super Defender is designed to tackle conditions that would stop an ordinary 4x4 in its tracks.

The oversized tires are particularly valuable in snow and soft terrain. By reducing tire pressure, the tires create a larger contact area, providing greater grip and flotation and allowing the vehicle to travel more effectively over deep snow. The wider stance of the modified vehicle also provides increased stability on challenging terrain.

Seating

The Super Defender seats up to 5 people in a 2 + 3 configuration, providing plenty of room for passengers and equipment.

Equipped for Bigger Adventures

For expeditions requiring even more carrying capacity, you can add a roof rack, specially modified trailer with 35-inch tires, jerry cans, and other accessories to your booking.
